Maximum driving dynamics and safety in any weather

The distinctly sporty MINI John Cooper Works impresses with a four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo petrol engine producing 170 kW (231 hp). Even on snow and ice, it delivers remarkable driving characteristics. Chassis technology developed with racing expertise enhances the legendary go-kart feeling in demanding road conditions while ensuring a safe and exhilarating drive. With a maximum torque of 380 Nm, the MINI John Cooper Works (combined fuel consumption: 6.8–6.5 l/100 km; combined CO₂ emissions: 154–147 g/km according to WLTP) accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds, reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.

Performance-optimised aerodynamics

The MINI’s extreme sportiness can be further enhanced with John Cooper Works aerodynamic components. High-quality winglets for the front and rear bumpers, along with side skirts, reinforce the vehicle’s dynamic character. The air guidance elements, designed specifically for the MINI John Cooper Works, come in high-gloss black and chilli red. Paired with the JCW roof spoiler and rear diffuser, they create striking motorsport-inspired contrasts. A newly designed JCW element for the C-pillar further enhances the vehicle’s powerful presence.

A motorsport legacy

The MINI John Cooper Works’ deep motorsport heritage traces back to the 1960s. In January 1964, the classic Mini demonstrated its prowess on snow-covered roads, tackling the icy hairpin bends of the Col de Turini in the French Maritime Alps during the Monte Carlo Rally. With the overall victory that followed, Paddy Hopkirk cemented the Mini’s legendary motorsport status—a feat later repeated by Timo Mäkinen in 1965 and Rauno Aaltonen in 1967.

Puristic design with enhanced motorsport flair

The racing-orientated design of the MINI John Cooper Works continues to honour this legacy. New JCW-specific foiling emphasises the model’s unparalleled performance, with asymmetrical Chilli Red stripes on the bonnet, body side, and rear, giving the car an unmistakable character.

On the black front grille, a red MINI JCW tow strap with a black JCW logo makes a bold decorative statement, inspired by rally sport. Black and red JCW exterior mirror caps, featuring a checkered flag design, further reference the brand’s motorsport history and complete the MINI John Cooper Works’ exclusive look.

For optimal grip on slippery roads, the 17-inch JCW Star Spoke winter wheels provide stability, while a fixed JCW hub cover keeps the JCW logo horizontal in the centre of the rim while driving, creating a striking visual effect. Additionally, red MINI valve caps with the JCW logo offer secure protection. The extensive accessory range for the MINI John Cooper Works provides exclusive equipment options, allowing motorsport enthusiasts to enjoy maximum performance with personalised styling.
