Header: Bonaldo
Bonaldo 2026 collection explores the dining area through architecture and design. A new collection of tables and chairs is designed to complement each other while at the same time keeping a distinct identity. Proportions, materials and the relationship between objects establish a cohesive and composed environment.
Liaison
Liaison, designed by Spazioameno, is inspired by the metaphor of an encounter. Made of two autonomous forms that create visual unity, the table positions itself between art and functionality. The base is made of two identical volumes that engage with each other through an interplay of solids and voids. The two elements don’t even touch each other, interacting through a slight rotation. The top acts like a stable horizon, highlighting the interaction between the elements of the base below. Available in wood, marble and ceramic, the top graces the base made of high-density polyurethane.
Oshi Table
Unlike Liaison, Oshi table’s inspiration was grounded in something less metaphorical: materials. The solid wood spans from the legs to the edge of the perimeter of the top, creating a continuous design. Legs positioned at 45 degrees rest at the corners, lending a soft profile to the piece. Ceramic and glass complete the design conceived by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti. Designed for spaces that spotlight tables, Oshi is perfect for dining environments, meeting rooms and prestigious spaces.
Flatiron table Round Top
Defined by asymmetry, the Flatiron table Round Top is designed by Mauro Lipparini. The circular top rejects traditional geometry to embrace an irregular perimeter animated by variations that soften its profile. The visually striking asymmetrical base aligns seamlessly with the top, harmonising the overall presence. Named after the nickname of the Fuller Building immortalised in Alfred Stieglitz’s 1903 photograph, the Flatiron table presents an architectural and cultural reference to one of New York’s landmarks.
Alpha chair
The upholstered, enveloping backrest of the Alpha chair tilts toward the seat, providing the chair with a distinct, inviting character. The volume supports the back but also expands to function as an armrest. The solid wood frame features a rectangular section and soft edges, while the upholstery is available in leather, eco-leather and fabric.
Artemis chair
Artemis’s design derives from movement. Natural line curves continuously through the chair, resulting in compact volume. The design’s precision and proportionality strengthen the feeling of continuity. Upholstered, comfortable padding in both the backrest and the seat provides unparalleled comfort even after prolonged use.
Teia chair
When observed from behind, viewers will notice the Teia chair’s standout feature – the backrest that extends toward the legs. Full upholstery spanning from the legs to the seating area and backrest gives the chair an unexpected, unconventional quality. The dynamic and soft Teia chair will easily find its place in domestic settings, meeting rooms, restaurants, and hospitality venues.
Bonaldo’s new collection evokes sensory experiences that go beyond aesthetics. By placing unexpected forms and intricate materials in dialogue with each other, Bonaldo chairs and tables shape the spaces that surround them.
