The year 2025 marks another milestone for S-CAB as the brand continues to evolve through ever more refined research while staying true to its contract sector roots. The upcoming Salone del Mobile Milano will be a key moment, featuring a move to Hall 18, where the stand will showcase S-CAB’s journey of growth and innovation, solidifying its reputation as a contemporary brand deeply committed to top-tier design. This year, S-CAB has prepared a new stand design by Calvi Brambilla and Partners, as well as various new collaborations.
S-CAB’s legacy of innovation and craftsmanship
It’s remarkable to think that just eight years ago, in 2017, Luisa Battaglia, representing the second generation at the helm alongside her sister Francesca, took on the role of Art Director, ushering in prestigious international collaborations. This evolution traces back to 1957 when Francesco Battaglia founded S-CAB, a company that today embodies quality, conviviality, and the renowned Italian craftsmanship that captivates the world.
Innovative collaborations and new product debuts
For Salone del Mobile.Milano 2025, S-CAB has once again entrusted its stand design to Calvi Brambilla and Partners, who have envisioned a layout that seamlessly connects indoor and outdoor spaces. At S-CAB, versatility isn’t a passing trend – it’s a core value.
Among the new product debuts are pieces by Zaven, winners of the 2024 Compasso d’Oro, and Maddalena Casadei, known for her refined and understated style, introducing fresh, unexplored visions. Alessandro Stabile contributes a new project that further expands the brand’s offerings, while Francesca Lanzavecchia presents a larger version of her 2024 Malvasia chair. Additionally, the SI-SI collection by Meneghello Paolelli is reimagined with brand-new materials.
The Marisco rug will also make its debut, marking the beginning of Maddalena Casadei’s collaboration with S-CAB and enriching the Decor Accessories section. This piece blends tradition with innovation, reinterpreting the ancient Sardinian art of reed coverings through the interweaving of polypropylene threads. Inspired by traditional mats and roofs, its design comes alive with a colorful thread, creating a link between the past and future. The rug will be available in three colors and two sizes: 300×200 cm and 300×400 cm.
