Aurum is a furniture collection by Louve Luxe and designed in Singapore that recently won the Living Room Furniture category at the SIT Furniture Design Awards. This collection was entirely developed by the studio’s design team, led by Grace Lim, Khanh Nguyen (Rara), and Sithi.
The collection features a range of furniture pieces designed for living spaces, including sofas, two distinct styles of armchairs, detachable side tables for coffee tables, as well as chairs and barstools. Each piece is designed with flexibility and modularity in mind, allowing for varied configurations and material choices.
A central feature of the collection is its focus on customisation, since components such as textile coverings, hardware finishes, and colour palettes can be selected and combined according to individual preferences. Some elements, like chair and barstool covers, are designed to be removable, allowing for easy updates or adjustments over time.
The design process prioritised adaptability, so each piece was developed to function independently or as part of a set. The detachable side tables, for example, allow coffee tables to be expanded or rearranged to suit different spatial needs. The armchairs and sofas, on the other hand, are available in various styles to accommodate any aesthetic preference.
