Stellar Works‘ new installation explores quiet luxury through hospitality-led design. The installation, presenting both new collection and iterations of existing designs, will be on view during 3daysofdesign as part of the FRAMING exhibition.

Japanese philosophy of wholehearted hospitality
Pieces from the new 2026 collection made by the brand’s new collaborators Keiji Ashizawa Design (KAD), LAYAN Studio, and Yabu Pushelberg, will be exhibited alongside Space Copenhagen’s Atelier modular sofa system additions. The exhibition space at Odd Fellow Palace is transformed to create a unique spatial ambience that will engage all senses. This year’s theme is based on the Stellar Works’ 2025 Omotenashi installation, focused on the Japanese philosophy of wholehearted hospitality.

THOUGHT / FUL at 3daysofdesign
Unlike last year’s show, the THOUGHT / FUL exhibition provides a quieter, introspective expression. The new visual communication codes employ natural and horticultural elements incorporated into the display. More than a mere decoration, plants bring rhythm to the show by growing and evolving during the exhibition. The philosophy of hospitality is conveyed through intuitive design and care rather than being excessively showy and loud.

“With this installation, we wanted to explore how furniture can shape atmosphere in a subtle yet meaningful and intuitive way. The installation is conceived as two complementary environments that invite visitors to slow down, reflect and experience the space through material, light and composition. Rather than placing emphasis on individual objects, the intention is to create a considered setting – one where design, hospitality and human experience converge naturally, offering a quiet source of inspiration.”

Room 01: THOUGHT
Room 1 presents the key pieces Space Copenhagen made for the Japanese brand. Atelier modular sofa system additions stand at the centre of this display, including lounge and side tables, as well as integrated tray elements. The material colour palette includes warm timber and tactile sandstone, which provide added flexibility without affecting the pieces’ sculptural clarity. Other handpicked items exhibited in room 1 include Freja black oak chairs and mohair low-pile rugs.

Room 02: FUL
Room 2 brings textures and tonal contrast into conversation, resulting in a complex and more engaging environment. Anchored by a central bar, the room is shaped by its composition. The new 2026 collection takes centre stage, including the Bruno and Arden pieces by LAYAN Studio, and the Timothy furniture by Yabu Pushelberg. Keiji Ashizawa Design (KAD) presented the new Ougi collection and a Stellar Works Bespoke Hi-Fi speaker console made jointly with Dynaudio, a Danish loudspeaker maker.

Stellar Works continues to push the boundaries of recycled material use in furniture and interior environments. Jointly with YKK, which provided recycled texture, the company made a display of kimono-inspired uniforms. Following YKK’s CYCLE OF GOODNESS® philosophy, the project explored how recycled elements can be adapted across different designs. These developments support durability, sustainability and improve performance.

Today is the last day to see the THOUGHT / FUL exhibition, made in collaboration with Space Copenhagen and artistic director Tony Chambers, in the historic Odd Fellow Palace in Copenhagen’s centre. The show represents a part of Stellar Works’ ambition to expand globally, bringing exquisite design and recyclable innovation to every corner of the globe.
