In 2023, Daewha Kang Design claimed the prestigious title in the Architectural Design of the Year – Eating Space category for The Grand Courtyard and Pavilion at the OWO. Richard Parr Associates triumphed in the Architectural Design of the Year – Living Space category with the Restoration of the Farmyard at The Newt. The competition recognizes excellence across both eating and living spaces. For Interior Design of the Year – Eating Space, Run For The Hills stood out with Audrey Green & Larry’s Bar at London’s National Portrait Gallery, while Lambs + Lions impressed the judges with OKU Kos in the Interior Design of the Year – Living Space category. 

Other notable winners include MADI HIYAA’s Overwater Restaurant by Nomadic Resorts in the Restaurant – Theme category, Socca Bistro by Fabled Studio in the Restaurant – Fine Dining category, and Revivalist by BGKT Architects. The prestigious awards also highlighted exemplary projects such as the Patina Maldives by Studio Mk27 and the HAY Boutique Hotel & SPA by Edem Family, a luxurious boutique offering.

A cornerstone of the LIV Awards’ success is its distinguished jury, composed of leaders from the world’s top hospitality and design institutions. Esteemed jurors include Francisco Lopez-Cordoba, Vice President of Interior Design at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, whose expertise spans over two decades in luxury design; Beatriz Carreto, Senior Design & Technical Manager at Radisson Hotel Group, bringing a wealth of experience in creating world-class hospitality experiences; and Mark Eacott, Global VP of Design at Ennismore, a visionary shaping lifestyle brands across continents. Other notable members include Kenneth Ha, Vice President of Design & Technical Services at Accor, ASPAC; Najee Syriani, Hospitality Development Director at Diriyah Company; and Corinna Kretschmar-Joehnk, founder of the renowned JOI-Design studio.
