Bad Bunny’s latest sneaker design for the iconic adidas Gazelle, is currently gaining momentum on social media with trendy fits being created styling it. However, Bad Bunny’s Off-White/Black Gum Gazelle Indoors are anything but casual. Despite their classy neutral hues, there are a few twists (literally speaking).
The deconstructed look of adidas Gazelle Indoor is emphasized by the asymmetric suede paneling on the toe of the sneaker, twisting to one side and extending to wrap around adidas’ iconic three stripes. However, that’s not the only significant detail accentuating the “imperfections” of the sneakers making them ironically more perfect.
Among the small details are the size tags stitched to the outer side of the back of the shoes. The “Benito” (Bad Bunny’s first name) name stamp right under the name of the brand distinguishes Bad Bunny’s Gazelle Indoors from others.
Enhanced by a timeless color palette that features a white leather base with black tongues, beige suede accentuates the semi-translucent brown gum of the soles embossed with “adidas” branding, overlapping the three stripes making the new release look more creative. The design also incorporates a warped toebox and a padded tongue, providing customizable options with removable tongue covers and interchangeable insoles, offered in both thin and thick styles.
This is not the first collaboration between the artist and the sportswear brand, as ever since their first collaboration in 2021, many sneakers have been released. This one, however, has been the most anticipated release and has already received much praise from critics and sneaker enthusiasts alike.
Released on September 21 for $140, The Bad Bunny x adidas Gazelle Indoor Off-White/Black-Gum is available on the adidas webstore, the adidas CONFIRMED app, and the adidas flagship app.
