NikeSKIMS is back for the upcoming season, and the partnership is doubling down on its specific system of dress. This second drop takes the foundation laid by the debut collection and stretches it further, combining Nike’s focus on performance tech with the specific attention to fit that defines SKIMS. The result is a range of sculptural, versatile pieces that move with the wearer. Whether for a low-impact studio session or a high-performance workout, these garments allow for endless layering and personal styling from the gym to the street.

Expanding the wardrobe

The scope of this launch is significant. It spans seven different collections and includes 65 unique silhouettes. For the first time, the collaboration introduces accessories to complete the look, adding items like socks, waist packs, and training gloves. This expansion builds on the first release by introducing new materials and seasonal colors while keeping the focus on versatility. The goal is to empower women to build outfits that match their daily movement needs without giving up their personal style.

Material innovation and design updates

The core material groups – Shine, Matte, and Airy – return with fresh updates. The Shine collection now features a Shine Colorblock capsule, which uses high-contrast panels to create a bold visual effect. The Matte collection continues to provide compression and smoothing, utilising Nike Dri-FIT technology to manage moisture. The Airy line offers breathable, mesh-inspired pieces available in both fitted and oversized cuts, making them easy to layer over other items.

Built for colder weather

With the season changing, the design team introduced Woven Nylon. This is a new category of relaxed “third layers” intended to be worn over the base pieces. The standout item in this group is the Wrap Coat, which prioritizes softness and function. Alongside these new additions, returning favorites like Weightless Layers, Matte Tricot, and Vintage Seamless continue to offer the sculpting and flattering fits that defined the initial drop.

Celebrating power on ice

The new designs are showcased in a holiday campaign featuring world-class speed skaters Maame Biney, Kamryn Lute, Kristen Santos-Griswold, and Courtney Sarault. Set on a branded rink, the campaign highlights the athletes’ power and precision. Kamryn Lute notes that feeling her muscles work and her breath strain is a representation of her effort and resilience. The campaign visualizes this physical and mental strength as a key part of modern femininity.

Photographer Daniel Shea captured the still images, while Madison McKamey handled the motion aspect, channelling the energy of Milan in the winter. A separate lookbook shot by Hugh Wilson displays the full system of dress, showing how sport and style work together in this new aesthetic. The collection is available since November 13 at online stores for both brands and at select retail locations, including flagship stores in New York City and Los Angeles.
