Monaco, especially the region of Monte Carlo, is known for its glamour and luxury, streets filled with beautiful people and designer stores, crazy blue waters, and parties that put others to rest. It’s here that Nikki Beach Global decided to open a brand new rooftop beach club where guests could gaze upon the Mediterranean and the city while enjoying the best music and cocktails money can buy.
The new beach club is the fruit of the renovation of a previous space, and the result is sure to make anyone who remembers what was there before soon forget everything. The updated space includes daybeds around the pool, equipped with adjustable umbrellas for custom comfort, and charming cabanas, which can be used to market brands or simply to give guests some privacy when wanted.
The bar, lounge, and entrance areas have all been redesigned, and the new hostess of the site ensures that each check-in will never go south of smoothly. In the department of art, this club features barro tiles from Portugal in key areas of the space, dazzling guests with designs inspired by geometric shapes and 3D illusion, some mural art reflecting the local culture, and wallpaper patterns in the bar and DJ booth.
The renovation also placed a great emphasis on sustainability, especially on the sourcing of décor pieces and furniture. Table mats and bread baskets, for instance, come from Artesanías del Atlántico, a brand that benefits a community of over 5000 people. Italian handcrafted vinegar and oil dispensers are placed on each table, helping to reduce litter by being reusable.
Sophistication and luxury are not just about where an item came from or how much money guests have to spend, but actually, if each detail is well thought through if high-quality is preferred over quantity, and if good taste always stands as essential. But, of course, standing in Monaco by the beach helps a great deal.
