Brussels Design Market is one of Europe’s largest design markets. The next edition will take place on the 21st and 22nd of September 2024.
This is an opportunity to discover vintage design and dive into the creative minds of pioneering professionals. Maintaining its unique atmosphere usually characterized by flea markets, the Brussels Design Market continues to extend, attracting more visitors each year, and has developed into a real meeting place.
Brussels Design Market has become one of the most prominent international vintage design markets and it invites visitors to discover enlightened and passionate exhibitors. Moreover, the market offers a wide variety of choices to match different tastes and interiors.
Arriving from all over Europe, dealers display their collections, bringing together multiple styles and trends that have influenced the 20th century. Moreover, the Brussels Design Market also offers anonymous and exclusive design pieces at affordable prices.
Earlier this year, the March edition of the festival welcomed over 100 exhibitors from different backgrounds and fields such as Braun Design, HED Paris, Platform D, Wow I Mean Waw, and more.
Dealers were set to entertain but also create professional connections and spark discussion about 20th-century design pieces.
In synergy with the Market, FOR THE NOW will reveal, for its fifth edition, a curation of established and emerging designers in Belgium. FOR THE NOW will take place on the 23rd and 24th of September and it will present the public with a reflection on all forms of contemporary design. The event aims to contribute to a more inclusive design world, where cultural histories come together to create a new shared visual language. In this sense, it encourages and promotes the exchange between designers, cultures, visual languages, and frames of reference.
Carefully selected by a committee of experts, the designers will unveil their latest creations as part of the Brussels Design September Festival, in collaboration with Flanders DC.
