Nurturing, protective light

Modularity is the focal point of Korum Applique’s versatility. Korum can be installed as a single element, in pairs or as multi-coloured compositions with different light orientations depending on requirements. This flexibility allows interior designers to experiment with lighting, creating personalised lighting arrangements that reflect the needs and aesthetics of their clients. Derived from the word corum, which means “shield“, the wall sconces are intended to serve as protective lights, diffusing gentle illumination that fosters emotional and psychological well-being.

Glossy and flip paint finishes mark an evolution in Cini&Nils production

The finishes stand out due to the collection’s glossy and flip paint versions, a new feature compared to standard Cini&Nils finishes. Finishes enhance the three-dimensional character of the design, resulting in a playful dialogue between material and light. The standard colour options include glossy white, matte black, and cool grey.  Many other colours are available upon request, including Pink Pantone 237, Light blue Pantone 290, Yellow Pantone 386, Flip paint KF-01, Flip paint KF-09 and Flip paint glossy.

The large wall and ceiling versions are available with a mirror-effect front cover, ideal for small spaces or those looking for a multifunctional and visually striking design element. Its scenic presence makes Korum Applique a lighting sconce that lends personality and style to contemporary environments. Korum’s sculptural forms, innovative finishes and customisable design transcend traditional lighting, turning the wall sconce from a functional lighting fixture to a poetic furnishing element.
