From remote landscapes to urban neighbourhoods, from bold visual identities to modular architectures, the DNA Paris Design Awards 2025 celebrate design that dares to rethink how we live, move, and connect. Selected from an exceptional pool of international entries, the five Professional Grand Prix winners embody a vision of design that is at once experimental, responsible, and deeply human.
The Grand Prix in Graphic Design of the Year goes to Romeo’s Sandwiches by Carla Palette (Germany), which playfully and elegantly subverts visual food codes, creating a joyful, offbeat, and instantly recognisable brand identity.

The Grand Prix in Interior Design of the Year goes to Miranda Palmeto, a productive dwelling designed by the Mexican firm TACO. Conceived as a mixed-use model at the neighbourhood scale, the project is part of a broader initiative to revitalise the Palmeto del Vivero de Cholul—a 2.5-hectare green space dedicated to the cultivation and sale of tropical plants.

On the Landscape Design of the Year side, Huanglongxi Valley · Tahitian envisioned by Guangzhou SPI Design Co. (China), reimagines a hybrid territory where nature, agriculture, and hospitality converge, offering an immersive and poetic sensory experience.

In Product Design of the Year, the Hotel Module project (USA) by Danny Forster & Architecture presents a mobile and adaptable hotel unit, designed to be deployed in diverse contexts while minimizing environmental impact.

Finally, in the Architectural Design of the Year category, the OVO Patagonia project by the studio Perspectiva Aérea (Argentina) rethinks the relationship between dwelling and extreme landscapes through a sensitive, minimalist approach, in symbiosis with the Patagonian environment.

All submissions are evaluated by an international jury of design luminaries, bringing together leading architects, designers, educators, curators, and creative directors from across disciplines and continents. The jury includes figures such as Simon Hamilton (UK), Educator and Design Director at YesColours and Associate Lecturer at the Royal College of Art; Claudia Afshar (USA), founder of Claudia Afshar Design Studio and globally acclaimed interior designer; Carlos Banon (Spain), architect and founder of AIRLAB, specializing in digital processes and advanced manufacturing; and Pilar Zeta (Argentina), multimedia artist whose work bridges philosophy, symbolism, and postmodern architecture, with exhibitions spanning Miami Art Week, MACO, and Art D’Egypt. Joining them are influential voices such as Jean-Baptiste Anotin (France), founder of Waiting For Ideas; Daisuke Kitagawa (Japan), founder of DESIGN FOR INDUSTRY INC.; Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead (UK) of 2LG Studio; and Sandra Githinji (Kenya), an interdisciplinary designer and educator working at the intersection of culture, activism, and the built environment. Together, the jury evaluates entries against criteria that continuously evolve to reflect current design standards, innovation, cultural relevance, and excellence, ensuring a rigorous and forward-looking selection process.
The Paris Design Conference and the Awards Ceremony will take place in Paris on October 24, in the presence of influential design figures from around the world.
