Junction is a ceiling light designed by Eureka Lighting formed by a set of “arms” that can be rotated by users, taking on any preferred form with ease. The lighting studio is no stranger to receiving awards, having recently become the winner of the “Ceiling Lights” category at the SIT Furniture Design Awards.
Details and personalisation
Up to five arms can be attached, each one fixed to the central mast but free to rotate, and users can choose from three lengths: four, six, or eight feet. For extra personalisation, the space between the arms can also be changed, with users having the choice between six or twelve inches.
Each arm has a U-shaped light diffuser that covers its entire length, making this fixture functional and visually interesting, no matter the form. The diffuser is available in two finishes, smooth or prismatic, and is responsible for one of the key details of Junction.
The central mast is deemed a “negative zone” as the diffusers do not illuminate it. This helps the fixture feel lighter in appearance, particularly in larger rooms where ceiling-mounted luminaires can easily feel heavy or oversized. Designed for large interiors such as lobbies or reception areas, Junction is available in sixteen colours.
