The foundation of any project is the idealisation of a concept. Although seemingly easy to achieve, it does not always come to mind in a cohesive form, so it needs to be perfected to be able to support its entire materialisation. The concept guides everything from initial discussions with clients and architects to on-site visits and attention to detail, including the selection of a colour palette that embodies the vision.
Set in a prime location in Portugal with breathtaking views, this stunning modern villa was brought to life by the design studio Stylish Club. Understanding the concept and keeping it alive during each stage of the build, the team of designers was able to showcase the vision not only in the clean geometry of the building’s architectural lines but also in the elegance and innovative functionality of every space.
The entrance hall
Designed with functionality and elegance in mind, the entrance hall combines practicality with style. Each element was chosen to optimise the space, creating an organised and welcoming entrance.
Light tones create a sense of peace and tranquilly that helps expand the narrow corridor with which residents are met right away. The use of timeless travertine marble in this space emphasises the minimalist, functional approach that can be seen throughout the house.
The Natur Console proves to be the perfect fit for this space, aligning seamlessly with the overall concept of the entire house. Inspired by nature, its minimalist design incorporates natural materials, creating a versatile Nordic-style piece that effortlessly complements any decorative environment. This console is the ideal choice for adding a warm and welcoming touch to your entrance hall.
The open space
In this villa’s open-plan living room, modern design meets practicality. The team laid their focus on aesthetics, comfort, and space utilisation, so integrating the dining area into this open space was an obvious choice. Once again, the choice for the dining table fell on the Natur Collection. The dining table, both practical and visually appealing, is the ideal piece of furniture for gatherings with friends, combining glamour with the noble materials used.
The introduction of organic elements in the decoration of this living room, through the floral arrangements as well as the side tables, such as the Olivier Side Tables and the Natur Side Table, brings browner tones to the space.
Finally, in this living room, the neutral-coloured His Modular Sofa, a sofa designed down to the last detail for your comfort and relaxation, was placed in the space. Its straight lines and versatile, modern design align with the villa’s overall concept, enhancing the resident’s experience of living in such a curated home.
The suite
Special attention was given to the bedroom, the most intimate room in the house, to reflect the residents’ personalities. The bed from the Sublime Collection, with its contemporary design and classical inspiration, combines simplicity and modernity, adding sophistication to the bedroom. Every detail, from lighting to furniture and decorations, was carefully considered to ensure each element carries significance, telling the story and experiences of the residents.
