Paris’ Glamour Meets London’s Energy In The “Mistress of Mayfair”

Mistress of Mayfair is an intimate lounge and dining room designed by The Nanu Group as a layered, immersive space where Parisian glamour meets London’s discreet elegance. The interior is dressed in deep reds, soft pinks, and neutral tones, with heavy drapery, velvet seating, and intricate tassels bringing some weight to the atmosphere.

At the centre of the room, a hand-carved Rosso marble and brass bar, framed by antique woodwork and ribbed leather detailing, immediately grabs the guests’ attention. Crystal chandeliers and seven-foot glass columns illuminate the space with a glow that shifts throughout the evening, leading into a midnight light show designed to transition the mood from dinner into late night.

Throughout the space, it’s clear that the designers were careful when choosing the palette and materials: brass fittings, marble sourced from the Palace of Versailles, and unique joinery all contribute to a sense of chic intimacy. Seating areas range from classic table arrangements to plush booths tucked behind curtains, creating a sense of old glamour no matter at what time or with whom one decides to join the fun.
