Slamp, following its recent entry into outdoor lighting, is bringing the Nuvem Outdoor Modular System to the prestigious Euroluce event (Rho Fiera, April 8-13). Designed by Miguel Arruda, this innovative system transforms outdoor spaces with Slamp’s signature creativity, elegance, and artistic vision. This luminous installation fully represents the brand’s commitment to innovation and its continuous push to explore new design possibilities.
From indoor ceiling to outdoor wall decor
Originally designed as a modular indoor luminous ceiling, Nuvem Outdoor transforms into a wall decoration, a high-tech ivy, a shading structure, or a waterproof lighting system – something entirely new and always unique. Flexible and adaptable, it is made to fit both the space and the people who experience it.
Nuvem Outdoor is a fully customizable modular system inspired by nature, creating a strong connection with its surroundings and turning creative ideas into reality. Its design ensures that no two installations are ever the same.
Easy connection and led-powered lighting system
The lighting system is designed to integrate smoothly with the overall composition, with each illuminated section connecting to the next, allowing for seamless transitions and easy adjustments thanks to the versatility of the V0 polycarbonate module.
The modules connect easily using the “clipper” tool, allowing for secure assembly by hand. If needed, the clips can be removed, making it easy to adjust and reshape the installation over time without complicated technical work.
The Nuvem Outdoor system features integrated 4.2W LED light units, which can be positioned throughout the composition or within individual modules to suit the project’s needs. Up to six light units can connect to a single electrical point, thanks to a junction light case that neatly gathers the wiring in one place. The cables remain hidden, running seamlessly across the modules and securely fastened in place.
The ceiling anchoring system is designed for both practicality and discretion. A hidden clamp allows for easy height adjustment of each steel cable, offering full flexibility in configuration.
For wall installations, the use of spacers gives designers complete creative freedom. By positioning the modules at varying distances from the wall, they can create dynamic compositions with depth and movement.
