Swedish brand H&M’s HOME division and one of the most prominent US interior designers, Kelly Wearstler, presented a new collection of furniture and decorative objects at Milan Design Week. The collaboration marks the first time the popular brand has joined forces with an outside interior designer, and the participation at the recently closed design week is the first presentation in Milan for both the brand and the designer.

Kelly Wearstler’s Eclectic Design
Known for her mix of materials, eras, and textures, Kelly Wearstler‘s design portfolio spans private residences, luxurious hotels, and curated design collections. Rooted in distinctiveness and craftsmanship, her eclectic approach results in immersive interiors that define modern luxury. The collection done in collaboration with H&M HOME centres on modularity, simultaneously reimagining furniture as an evolving architectural system.

The collection takes small pieces, occasionally shaped in unexpected ways, and turns them into something bigger. Refined materials, such as wood, metals, marble, and textiles, make up the core of the collection. Apart from groundbreaking furniture pieces, the H&M Home and Kelly Wearstler collection also features lighting fixtures and decorative objects. The unique design language of Wearstler is reimagined through the lens of H&M HOME. Built on the concepts of daily rituals and modular synergy, the collection unveils itself as an elaborate feast for all the senses.

The Milan Design Week debut
Kelly Wearstler’s H&M HOME collaboration was unveiled at a curated exhibition during the Milan Design Week 2026. Staged as an immersive experience in the 17th-century Baroque venue Palazzo Acerbi, the show, which included a curated selection of key objects and furniture, lasted six days, opening on April 21 and ending on April 26, 2026. The installation produced by the acclaimed Studio Boum goes through rooms, with every space revealing a new dimension of the experience. This was a double debut for the prominent designer and H&M HOME, who both appeared at the Milan Design Week for the first time.

A new era for H&M HOME
And while the visitors of Milan Design Week had the opportunity to experience the designs first-hand, the rest of us will have to wait until September. The collection will be available starting September 3, 2026, at retail stores and online. This collection represents the first designer collaboration and a new era in the life of the H&M brand. Staying true to the ethos of the Swedish company that aims to democratise design, the new collection makes luxurious, captivating interior pieces by Wearstler available to interior enthusiasts around the world.

H&M HOME furniture collection, complemented by smaller design objects, brings the immersive, modular design to the forefront. The mixture of contemporary design and quality materials results in a refined yet approachable aesthetic that will undoubtedly capture the attention of design enthusiasts.
