REVERB by Hard Rock Hamburg has officially opened, located within the historic St. Pauli Bunker in a neighbourhood recognised for its port, distinctive architecture, and cultural significance. The hotel aims to serve as a meeting ground for music enthusiasts, locals, and travellers, offering modern design and technology all around while also promoting local music, food, and lifestyle.
The hotel, which has only been open for some months, is already being recognised as one of the most interesting destinations in the hospitality world due to an odd detail: it used to be a Nazi war bunker. Now, the concrete masterpiece, with its geometric twists and turns, received a new opportunity at life. Plants hang from the concrete blocks and music fills its inside, as it should have always been.
The hotel is operated by RIMC Hotels & Resorts and features 134 rooms and suites, with options such as King, Double Queen, and Roadie Bunk Rooms. Each room has comfortable furnishings, fan-inspired artwork, a to-die-for entertainment system, work areas, and, of course, bathrooms. Environmental sustainability was not forgotten, as 4,700 shrubs and 16,000 perennials were planted—plus, the property includes 10,000 m2 of green and communal areas.

The hotel offers various dining and entertainment options:
- Constant Grind: A coffee shop located above the city that combines bakery items, coffee, and self-service in a casual setting.
- KARO&PAUL by Frank Rosin: A venue designed for drinks, mingling, and dancing, with a rotating lineup of live music and acts.
- La Sala: A restaurant offering breakfast, Sunday brunch, lunch, and dinner, with live music and DJ performances scheduled regularly.
- Green Beanie: A rooftop urban garden offering food and beverages from a pop-up container.
- Rock Shop: A retail outlet selling Hard Rock clothing and merchandise, including local collections and FC St. Pauli items.
The hotel includes Hamburg’s largest public rooftop garden, offering 360-degree views of the city, which can be visited by climbing 335 steps or taking a 560-meter-long “mountain path” lined with rails, starting at the north side of the bunker and offering panoramic views along the way. There is also the Georg-Elser-Hall, located within the property, which accommodates up to 2,200 people and will be used for concerts, cultural events, and school sports.
In addition to regular hotel operations, REVERB by Hard Rock Hamburg offers three 40 m² furnished guest apartments designed for artists or scholarship holders. These spaces are available for booking through Hamburg’s cultural institutions via the Ministry of Culture and Media.
