Challenges Meet Solutions, Fashion Meets Sport

The focal point for innovation, insights, digital transformation, and networking is the Future Lab, where visitors will be able to explore three thematic areas where challenges meet solutions: ISPO Brandnew features start-ups and their business models, the Digitize and Retail Hub provides digital transformation solutions for sports and retail, and the Career Hub serves as a platform for employer branding and recruitment.

An innovative feature of ISPO Munich 2024 is the convergence of sports, outdoor activities, and fashion, which can be witnessed at the ISPO 520M by Highsnobiety, a platform for exploring the future of outdoor, fashion, and culture for upcoming generations. Simultaneously, the Zeitgeist by ISPO presentation concept provides brands with a platform to showcase designs and concepts, setting trends in contemporary sports fashion.

On the topic of health, ISPO Munich partnered up with Messe Leipzig and Therapie München at the ICM to present trends and developments for physiotherapists, occupational therapists, sports therapists, and masseurs. Because Earth’s health is, of course, also important, visitors can visit the Sustainability Hub, where products, materials, and initiatives that are changing the understanding and practice of sustainability will be showcased.

Innovations Guide the Way

The ISPO Award has become an international accolade for products and solutions, offering retailers an exceptional purchasing guide, and, to the media, a chance to discover upcoming highlights. ISPO Brandnew showcases the industry’s newcomers, with past winners such as GoPro, Naish Kites, Maloja, Nixon, and On. Finally, ISPO Textrends presents material trends, with awarded fabrics, membranes, trims, and insulations used in sportswear and fashion collections, guiding designers and product managers. Together, these awards form a trend report, but the whole fair can be considered as such as well.
