Popular sports brand adidas and basketball star Anthony Ant Edwards join forces to create an innovative yet affordable generation of sports shoes. The partners, who previously collaborated on the creation of the Anthony Edwards 2, announced Believe That. 1 designed for the next generation of hoopers who aim to balance premium performance and refined style without draining their bank accounts.

Entry-level shoe with Anthony Edwards’ style and design
Designed in partnership with the Minnesota Timberwolves guard, the new silhouette carries Edwards ‘ recognisable style and energy. The model with the starting price of $100 represents an entry-level addition to the NBA player’s signature line, as his previous Anthony Edwards 2 Shoes went for $130.

Believe That. 1 boasts proven adidas technology engineered to assist basketball players at every level of the game. Durable toe overlay protects the wearer, keeping them locked in without distraction. A direct-injected TPU containment panel ensures safety and comfort during cuts and changes of direction. Dreamstrike’s advanced cushioning technology provides flexibility and shock absorption while improving responsiveness and relief.

Believe That. 1 is available for purchase starting from June 1, 2026, on adidas.com, the adidas app and retail locations around the globe. The shoe comes in several colourways, including Black, Triple White, Velocity Blue and pink shoes entitled Turbo. Cry Wolf comes in grey and blue, while a model simply named With Love boasts a black-and-yellow colour palette.
