Totem Automobili has just unveiled its vintage-looking GT Electric Zeal01. This is the 18th car built by the Veneto-based manufacturer, once again on its electric platform, and commissioned by a client from California.

An exterior like no other
As with every Totem creation, this model was developed through a meticulous configuration process in which each element was defined together with its owner. The exterior features a unique colour specifically created for this project: a variation of “Azzurro Pervinca”, a hand-applied triple-layer metallic finish chosen to resemble the luminous, ever-changing hues of the Californian coastline.
The exterior is completed with satin gold accents that connect the outside of the car with its interior, together with an extended package of matte-finish carbon fibre components in Totem’s signature diamond weave. This is a design element that has become increasingly recognisable across the brand’s production.

A two-tone bespoke interior
For the first time on a GT Electric, Totem has introduced a two-tone cabin: the interior is trimmed in medium-blue and cream Nappa leather with contrast stitching, complemented by a pied-de-poule fabric developed exclusively for this car with the support of a small Florentine artisan workshop.

A car personalised for its owner
From a technical perspective, Zeal01, the name chosen by its owner, also features the electronically controlled suspension system developed in collaboration with the Como-based company ORAM. This setup allows independent adjustment of the front and rear suspension, giving the driver the flexibility to prioritise either comfort or performance depending on driving conditions.
The car also incorporates numerous requests from the client, including leather-trimmed side bolsters for the carbon-fibre seats developed with Sabelt, dedicated CNC-machined elements, quilted door panels, a leather headliner with custom stitching and blue Brembo brake callipers with gold lettering.

A pride for Totem Automobili
For the Totem Automobili team, this model represents one of the most mature outcomes achieved by the company on its electric platform, both in terms of build quality and dynamic refinement.
Seeing it photographed among the streets of Treviso, the city where Totem’s production facility is based, adds a further symbolic layer to a project that brings together contemporary technology and the enduring tradition of Italian craftsmanship.
