The small Everybody’s Darling Day Bar is located in Vienna, Austria, and was designed by the design studio The Black Square Vienna to adapt to different times of day while maintaining its intent: to be a day bar. Day or night, the decor and light make this space feel appropriate for a drink or two with friends, during brunch, lunch, or in the evening.
The bar features large windows that allow natural light to fill the space during the day. At night, Bocci Pendant lights bring warm tones to the bar, allowing the atmosphere to adapt to the outside as the day progresses.
The materials used in the design were carefully chosen to ensure that the ambiance would always be on point. Wooden wall panels provide a consistent texture all around the space, while the pink ceiling brings a fun yet warm character to the bar. To sit, guests can enjoy the soft upholstery of the chairs, a detail that, while little, further addresses the main goal of the bar: no matter the time of day, comfort is crucial.
The result is a bar that feels just right no matter the time of day, staying in customers’ minds long after they’ve left. The owners wanted a space that people would remember, even as trends come and go, and the unique design makes it stand out while drawing in new visitors, hopefully by word of mouth.
