The Totem GT Super “Euforia” has been officially unveiled as the second project created by Totem Automobili in collaboration with E.Marinella, the historic Neapolitan maison known worldwide for its silk ties.

“We are proud to have taken part in this project alongside Totem Automobili, a company that interprets Italian excellence with the same focus on quality, craftsmanship and uniqueness that has always distinguished E.Marinella.”

The name “Euforia”, chosen by the commissioning client, refers to the car’s most fun component: beneath the bonnet lies the 2.8-litre, 640-horsepower twin-turbocharged V6 developed by Totem together with Italtecnica, paired with a six-speed manual transmission in a rear transaxle configuration.

A silky look

The defining feature of the cabin is a hand-printed silk sourced from E.Marinella’s 1985 Archive, selected to introduce a lively accent within a sombre space of deep, sophisticated tones. The bodywork is finished in a triple-layer paint inspired by the bronze shades of Italian sports cars from the 1970s, while the interior is upholstered in cobalt-blue Nappa leather with contrasting stitching and inserts in the same archival silk.

The carbon fibre features Totem Design’s signature weave in a satin finish, used throughout both the exterior and the cabin, while the interior and bodywork details are finished in satin nickel. The Totem Design steering wheel is machined from a single block of aluminium before being upholstered in leather and carbon fibre coordinated with the rest of the interior.

The seats, developed together with Sabelt and electrically adjustable in six ways, feature rear shells finished in the same carbon fibre used throughout the car. The headliner is upholstered in leather with a hand-stitched pattern echoing the fluting of the seats, while the key, normally produced in aluminium, has been machined from solid stainless steel.

Luxurious details

E.Marinella used the same materials from the cabin to create a custom weekender bag and a custom tie case fitted to the rear parcel shelf. Together with the murrina glass insert set into the gear knob, these elements form part of the package developed with the Neapolitan maison, available for only a very limited number of cars within Totem’s GT Series.

“For Euforia, we chose to make available one of our most iconic patterns, Archivio 85, which Totem reinterpreted for the car’s interior, demonstrating how E.Marinella’s creative heritage can find expression far beyond the world of ties.”

The technical areas

The customisation-led approach also extends to the car’s technical components. The Capristo exhaust system is equipped with an electronically controlled valve operated from within the cabin, allowing the driver to adjust the intensity of the engine’s sound. The ORAM electronic suspension system makes it possible to adjust the front and rear dampers independently through a wide range of configurations. Beneath the engine bay cover, the steering column remains visible, crafted from carbon fibre and titanium.

“This project was born from the intuition and courage of two young entrepreneurs who transformed a vision into an internationally recognised reality.”
