Marble perfection

Made of marble, both the Minera Table and Branch Console celebrate the everlasting beauty and elegance of natural stone. The high-quality white natural Carrara marble quarried in Italy’s Apuan Alps was carefully crafted to transform it into an organic fluid shape. Sinuous siluette of the collection surpass the line between furniture and art, providing the tables with a sculptural quality. The ultimate statement piece, the elements from the Erosion Collection for Neutra suggest an alternative concept of space.

The Minera Table

Measuring at 320 x 160 x 72 cm, the Minera Table can accommodate up to eight people, making it a perfect choice for bringing people together at a social gathering. Characterised by materiality and high precision of lines, the Minera is a continuous singular composition expressing the erosion of space impacted by the wind and time. Neutra, a company client specialised in transforming marble into unprecedented projects, was in charge of the crafting part.

Carved to perfection from a single compact marble block, the large-scale console fosters a dialogue between space and object. Its unconventional, organic form resembles ancient sculptures while simultaneously boasting a futuristic aesthetic, thus proving that sophisticated luxury has its place in every design era.  The limited edition of the Minera Table features only eight pieces, turning it into an intriguing collector’s item.

The Branch console

The Branch console by Zaha Hadid Architect balances between lightness and sturdiness. The 290 x 68 surface of the console is firmly placed on two symmetrical branches “growing” from the base. The console design was inspired by natural forces, while the support mimics the natural growth of tree limbs. Characterised by a central void which enriches the timeless quality of the piece, the Branch Console provides the sense of simultaneously floating in space yet firmly standing on the ground.

A void at the centre provides lightness to the design, softening the mass and allowing light to penetrate the space. Also sculpted from a single block of marble, the item appears as if it were crafted by the wind. Generous in proportions and fluid in form, the Branch console is a perfect fit for any space ranging from luxurious residential interiors to stylish public spaces.

By turning a single block of marble into a symbol of unprecedented luxury, the Erosion collection for Neutra seamlessly combines movement and stability, lightness and sturdiness, art and innovation.
