SoHo Design District (SDD) is marking a decade of fostering design experiences, networking, and creativity in New York City. This year marks the organization’s 10th anniversary, and a year-long program of activities is planned to celebrate the milestone.
Since its founding in 2014, SDD has become a hub for design brands and enthusiasts. The organization has facilitated initiatives like design talks, in-store receptions, and collaborations between local and international institutions, all to build a strong design community.
“We are so grateful for the unwavering support from our national and international design brands and passionate professionals who truly resonate with our mission, as this milestone wouldn’t have been possible without them in our corner,”
SDD said in a statement.
A cornerstone of the anniversary celebration is the NYCxDesign Festival, taking place May 16-23, 2024. During this week, the SoHo Design District will partner with Eataly SoHo, a new marketplace and restaurant located in the heart of SoHo. To mark the occasion, Eataly SoHo will offer a special limited-edition Negroni Sour at its bar throughout the festival.
SoHo Design District is a non-profit organization that aims to elevate the design scene in New York City. For more information on the anniversary celebrations and the NYCxDesign Festival, visit https://www.sohodesigndistrict.org/.
