Nike Debuts New Performance and Retro Basketball Styles in Latest SNKRS Showcase

Nike Basketball unveiled several new performance footwear styles during a SNKRS Showcase livestream, reflecting the brand’s commitment to designing products that power the performance and self-expression of the game’s most outstanding athletes while fueling the next generation of hoopers around the world.

Aired live from Nike’s New York Headquarters, the stream offered an in-depth look at several of Nike’s top performance basketball silhouettes, including the new Sabrina 3, Giannis Freak 7 and G.T. Future. The showcase also gave athletes and fans a glimpse at new colorways of the Ja 3, KD18 and S.T. Flare; debuted Jordan Poole’s Player Edition of the G.T. Cut 3; and unveiled a restyled G.T. Cut 1 Retro.

In addition to the contemporary performance offerings, Nike Basketball also unveiled retro Air Flightposite, Air Foamposite One, Air Foamposite Pro, and KD4 silhouettes that pay homage to the brand’s decades-long commitment to serving hoops enthusiasts with footwear that fuels both their game and their style.

Launch dates for the styles teased during the livestream vary, with drops beginning this month and continuing into early 2026.

The new and restyled footwear models unveiled during the SNKRS Showcase livestream are the latest additions to Nike Basketball’s best-in-class product catalog, serving every type of player and addressing their diverse needs and specific wants.

The Giannis Freak 7, for example, is the ideal silhouette for athletes who are unstoppable in the open court. At the same time, the Sabrina 3 serves as a reliable option for hoopers who work tirelessly to nail every step-back jumper. The Ja 3 enables strong jumps and soft landings, and the KD18 gives athletes the confidence to own the final minutes of every game.

Through this suite of performance offerings, Nike is creating the future of basketball footwear, providing athletes at all levels with industry-leading silhouettes that accentuate the way they utilize their athleticism as their competitive advantage.

Nike also pairs these footwear innovations with colorway stories, materials, and finishes that match the bold and confident energy that the next generation of hoopers brings to the court.

This is possible only because of Nike’s commitment to listening to the voices of athletes — girls, boys, women, and men, from the EYBL to the highest levels of the game — to inform the brand’s basketball footwear innovation and design.

Further, by creating the best for the best, then delivering it to those who love the game the most, Nike is championing the players at the heart of basketball, powering the future of the game and fueling basketball culture — serving its unparalleled roster of elite hoopers alongside the next generation of athletes and fans.

“The Nike Basketball footwear we debuted during the SNKRS Showcase further demonstrates our unparalleled commitment to the sport, its athletes and culture,” says Jarrett Mann, Senior Director, Men’s Basketball Footwear. “We look forward to raising the bar and advancing our basketball dominance by continuing to bring forward the best innovation, storytelling and athletes in the game.”
