Downtown Design’s Must-See Booth: Hands X Zupanc

Hands, an established label in luxury handmade carpets, has announced the launch of KNOTION, a carpet collection created in collaboration with designer Nika Zupanc. The collection will be showcased at Downtown Design Dubai, which will take place from November 6-9 and is known for highlighting some of the must-see designers and designers of our times.

KNOTION comprises a series of hand-knotted carpets made from botanical silk, all in the form of road knots and turns. Each piece offers a unique composition of lines and curves and plenty of washed-down colours to choose from, which distinguishes the collection from the brand’s portfolio.

The collection was previously presented at India Design Mumbai, opening the appetite of the world for its groovy pattern and colours before bringing it onto the big stage. Downtown Design will offer the brand the chance to reach international audiences, sharing with them Hands’ new approach to carpetmaking and Zupanc’s unique design perspective.
