adidas and the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team have released a new Summer 2025 collection designed especially for fans of the adrenaline-fuelled sport, launching ahead of the Miami Grand Prix. The designers took a moment to reflect on the striking natural elements of the Miami region, having decided to base the collection’s visual concept on the distinctive leaf shapes of native mangrove trees.

The mangrove leaves are presented in black and used consistently throughout the collection. They appear most prominently on the drivers’ jersey, where the graphic is layered over an off-white, burgundy, and coral background. The design is completed with three white shoulder stripes and the Adidas logo placed at the center of the chest.

The design goal was to create a look perfect for any setting, be it the paddock, the stands, or elsewhere. This was primarily achieved by combining elements native to the region with more Formula One-ish detailing, making this the perfect apparel for a super race weekend.

Speaking about the launch, Michael Batz, Motorsport Category GM at adidas, said:

“Miami is one of the most anticipated races on the calendar, a city known for both sport and style, making it the ideal location to debut the first adidas x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 race day collection for Summer 2025. For this collection, we wanted to capture the essence of Miami in a fresh and unexpected way, brought to life with bold hues and prints which bring a vibrant splash of Miami style to the F1 paddock this May.”

Richard Sanders, Chief Commercial Officer at the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, added:

Our partnership with adidas is built on bringing a fresh perspective to our sport and the F1 fanbase. Our first race-specific collection delivers on that with its bold design that celebrates the natural roots of Miami. Dropping our summer collection at a race that symbolises so much about how our sport and team have grown and reached new audiences in recent years feels appropriate. We can’t wait to see the fans in the grandstands and those watching around the world showing their support in the vibrant colours of the summer pack.”
