Simone Rocha Adds a Touch of Femininity to adidas Originals’ Iconic Silhouettes

adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2026 collection, made in partnership with Paris fashion house Simone Rocha, comprises footwear, apparel and accessories. Originally introduced last February during the Simone Rocha Autumn/Winter 2026 runway show in London, the collection reinterprets adidas Originals’ design language through femininity, craft and material.

Expressive femininity by Simone Rocha

Irish designer Simone Rocha founded her namesake fashion house in 2010. Working across ready-to-wear menswear, womenswear and accessories, the fashion house approaches this collection as an extension of its practice. It delivers a unique, fashion-forward perspective to adidas Originals, informed by its recognisable design language characterised by expressive construction, femininity, proportions and ornamentation.

“Sportswear is something I’ve wanted to explore for a long time. What interested me about working with adidas Originals was the opportunity to bring my own design language to something with such a strong identity. It was never about changing what already exists, but about revealing another perspective. The collection feels very authentic to both of us.”

Reimagined adidas Originals apparel

Simone Rocha reimagined sportswear through the balance of functionality, ornamentation and romance. Three track tops are a perfect example of this symbiosis. The Firebird track top paired a cropped silhouette with oversized volumes. The Beckenbauer silhouette’s familiar form was altered with tulle underlay, while puffed sleeves were added to the Superstar track top.

Simone Rocha’s unique approach to materiality and form is visible in skirts, trousers and frilled dresses, while fitted leotards and classic T-shirts balance elegance with practicality. Accessories follow the same path. A custom Trefoil brooch and hair clip feature an upgraded adidas Originals logo inspired by diamante and pearls, also integrated into knee-high football socks. Finally, the classic adidas Airline bag in broderie anglaise completes the apparel offering.

The collection is completed with three sneaker silhouettes, each reinterpreted through Simone Rocha’s design language. The SR Taekwondo Ballerina, in pink and black colourways, pairs ribbon lacing with pearl and diamante detailing at the toe. Based on the performance runner, the SR Climacool features a leather upper, a cutout tongue, and a sculptural heel counter. SR Japan Fuzzy Slip On, the third of the group, transforms the archival adidas shoe with an open heel, a pony hair effect upper and the traditional three stripes trademark in pearly-like sculptural design.

The promotional campaign, shot by the American fine art photographer Justine Kurland, fuses several narratives within a single image. The dialogue between intimacy and community is depicted through several individual gestures within a broader collective scene, situated in natural surroundings. This perspective is further expanded in the promotional film that transitions from closely captured portraits to a wider landscape of shared experience. The adidas Originals by Simone Rocha Fall/Winter 2026 collection will be available starting September 10 at both adidas and Simone Rocha stores, as well as on the CONFIRMED app and both companies’ websites.
