Coca-Cola Company teamed up with adidas to reveal a new collection for the FIFA WORLD CUP 2026, set to take place between June 11 and July 19, 2026. The collection of apparel, footwear and accessories employs bold looks inspired by the classic silhouettes and 2000s street style.

The history behind the collaboration
The collaborative effort of the beverage manufacturer and the popular sports brand dates back to 2002, when the two companies joined forces for the 2002 World Cup summer tournament. Now, 24 years later, another iconic tournament approaches, leading the two brands to reunite once again. The new collection gives a bold contemporary reinterpretation of classic and 2000s street style to create an edition that celebrates sport’s greatest moments.

Four iconic footwear silhouettes
The footwear part of the collection is rooted in four signature adidas silhouettes from the early 2000s.
- Adistar Control 5 – an iconic running silhouette
- Predator Sala – football-inspired lifestyle shoes
- Climacool 1 – sneakers with breathable mesh uppers for hot summer days
- Megaride F50 – futuristic everyday shoes with a mesh upper and cage construction
Each shoe is underscored by Coca-Cola’s inspired takes, reimagined to mirror the look of a different Coca-Cola can, complete with droplet detailing, while the Megaride F50 references the company’s legendary glass bottle. All silhouettes come with branded Coca-Cola details while colourways range between red, white and black.

adidas Originals x Coca-Cola apparel and accessories
Apart from the four reinvented footwear silhouettes, the collaborative collection also features an array of apparel and accessories. Shorts, jerseys, T-shirts, track tops and a bright red airliner bag honour the heritage of both brands. The collection is split into two parts, with one celebrating vintage aesthetics and the other packed with logo-heavy graphics and Coca-Cola branding. A standout jersey from the collection, for instance, is embellished with a mix of retro Coca-Cola advertising from different eras brought together to create a completely new aesthetic.

Lamine Yamal-starred promotional campaign
The adidas Originals x Coca-Cola collection is launched with a FIFA World Cup-inspired promo campaign entitled Originals are the Real Thing. The film follows a group of people waiting for the bus on a hot summer day. Among them is Lamine Yamal, a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Barcelona and stars in the campaign. The metaphor of waiting for a bus that will take them to the FIFA World Cup 2026 highlights the uniqueness of every individual, brought together by their passion for football.

The latest adidas Originals and Coca-Cola collection has launched on June 6, 2026, and is available online on the adidas CONFIRMED app and adidas.com, as well as in select retailer stores worldwide.
