Coinciding with 3daysofdesign 2026, Audo Copenhagen, a luxury Scandinavian design brand owned by FLOS B&B Italia Group, has announced an exhibition entitled Quiet Grandeur. Presented in the company’s concept shop, AUDO House, at Århusgade 130, 2150 Nordhavn, the show will feature new designs alongside curated objects from the existing Audo collections. Additional programs will be organised throughout the venue, extending the spirit of the exhibition. Guests can enjoy the concept of Quiet Grandeur through a courtyard installation, cinema room and cocktail and vinyl bars.

New designs and old favourites

The spatial narrative reminiscent of Nordic interpretations of classicism is defined by atmosphere and tactility. Seven new designs will debut at the exhibition, including chairs, tables and lighting fixtures. Juxtaposed with established designs and presented throughout the exhibition, the new pieces engage in a conversation with craftsmanship, contemporary forms and enduring materiality. The show will include the upcoming outdoor collection by Danielle Siggerud, as well as new designs by Atelier Axo, Ib Kofod-Larsen, Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen, Laura Lange, Norm Architects, and Pernille Arlien Søborg.

The Tired Man’s 90th birthday

The Tired Man, a chair designed by Danish architect and designer Flemming Lassen, will celebrate its 90th anniversary during 3daysofdesign 2026. The iconic upholstered armchair will celebrate its birthday in style in the Audo House, specially redesigned for this event. By presenting three distinct interpretations of the legendary design, the installations will highlight the chair’s continuous relevance and emotional character, which spans across generations. Instead of presenting the piece as a historic artefact, the curator of Quiet Grandeur explores the Tired Man as an everlasting benchmark for comfort, craftsmanship and a sculptural quality adapted to the needs of contemporary life.

Exploring the legacy of Mogens Lassen

A special segment of the Quiet Grandeur will be dedicated to Flemming‘s brother, Mogens Lassen, a famed Modernist Danish architect and designer. The dedicated cinema room will focus on the film dedicated to Lassen’s lasting contribution to Danish design history in a warm, intimate setting. Soft seating and low lighting throughout the cinema room invite visitors to slow down and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the film.

Bar and courtyard gatherings

Throughout the week, the Copenhagen cocktail and vinyl destination Bird will join Audo Copenhagen to host a series of intimate bar experiences. Cocktails and vinyl sessions will take place during 3daysofdesign 2026 within Audo House, which is transformed into an immersive venue featuring tactile materials, deep tonal colours, and atmospheric lighting.

Illuminated by Audo’s new Admiral Lamp and equipped with soft lounges and custom interior design, the Audo House will provide a slow-paced, ambient setting designed to heighten the senses. However, the entertainment doesn’t stop at the bar. Courtyard gatherings will be held on Wednesday, June 10th, and Friday, June 12th, between 16:00 – 18:00, bringing together hospitality, refreshments and DJ sounds by Botanic.

The Quiet Grandeur exhibition celebrates the ethos of soft minimalism, which combines simplicity with warmth and comfort. Additional amenities and programs further expand the impact of the show, envisioned as a part of Audo’s 3daysofdesign 2026 presentation.
