New Lindeza Jewellery Store in Dubai Inspired by Mineral Caves

A new Lindeza Jewellery store has opened at City Walk in Dubai, further opening the range of semi-precious jewellery to the public. Designed by architect Elena Lokastova, the interior reflects the brand’s philosophy, rooted in the energy of natural minerals and the pure, historically celebrated geometry of a crystal.

Designing a crystal-like interior

The design actively attempted to create the illusion of entering a mineral cave, full of growing crystals that introduce the 29 gemstones featured in the boutique’s inventory. To achieve this, six sculptural columns structure the interior, with a mirrored ceiling above giving the impression that these grow upwards, expanding out of the space and softening the boundaries of the compact room.

“The structures appear as monumental four-sided forms reminiscent of elongated octahedrons.”

Textures and colours

Eucalyptus veneer was chosen as the boutique’s main material, having been used in wall panels, custom furniture and several central display elements. Its warm grain softens the sharp, crystal-like shapes, while its glossy finish gives the surfaces a polished look that goes hand-in-hand with the jewellery. The eucalyptus is set against pink epoxy floor and walls, which gives the interior its main colour contrast.

The spotlight feature of the interior is a monumental display structure composed of two perpendicular triangular prisms. Its dynamic form references tetrahedrite, a mineral whose crystalline structure is formed by intersecting triangles. A second display unit, also based on intersecting triangular volumes, was similarly created following this mineralogical theme.

The interior ultimately becomes an immersive environment. Stepping inside, visitors find themselves within a crystalline landscape, a space where the energy of natural minerals embodied in the jewellery takes architectural form.
