Wild’s new Brixton Headquarters has been transformed into an immersive experience. The project draws inspiration from the Wild’s bold and playful brand identity to support the company’s extensive growth, as well as its recognisable company culture.

Vibrant pinks and wild fur

For this project, Motive, a creative consultancy firm, was working together with design and build specialist Soul Spaces. Together, they elevated the experience of working for the UK’s fast-growing personal care brand by designing a workplace that will embody its bold, playful, approachable, and warm nature. A very functional existing office was adapted through an intervention conducted by Soul Spaces.

The large working space has been partitioned and redesigned to fit the brand’s open collaborative culture. Instead of constructions and walls, the main investments were focused on materials, finishes, and custom-made installations. Vibrant pinks and a furry feature wall with an incorporated Wild logo are located at the entrance, ensuring a joyful welcome right from the start.

Organic shapes and googly eyes

Bespoke reception desk mimics the Wild’s recognisable deodorant case. Flowers blooming from within symbolise the company’s nature-driven mission. Organic shapes and lively shades on the walls are a testimony to the brand’s expressive, irreverent character. A pink gumball machine encourages interaction by providing a mystery Wild gift. Original fragrances, the main products of the brand, have inspired the meeting rooms. Thunderstorm boardroom, for instance, features a rain-cloud installation, while Sunkissed room houses a radiant rug.

Attention-grabbing product-inspired design

At the centre of the office, the all-hands social space translates into a generous open plan area, anchored by a custom cabinet also inspired by the company’s products. A human-sized dancing polar bear mascot resides under a disco ball. Feature rugs, bespoke console tables, pendant lighting, and fun items create a visually interesting setting, while hidden googly eyes appear from inanimate objects in unexpected places.

Motive’s new design bursts with a colour-drenched, immersive, and inventive world of self-care that puts personality in its essence. Two tiled alcoves are based on the Wild’s bathroom revolution. Every alocove boasts light-emitting showerheads that can be adjusted by using cold and hot taps, much like the regular showerheads.
