2025 Outdoor Designs That Prove Classic Never Goes Out of Style

Since 1895, Grythyttan has been the name to know when it comes to outdoor furniture, and in 2025, they’re bringing a fresh splash of color with their latest collection! Meet the stunning new A2 Armchair in Green and the High Tech Chair in Ivory, Petrol, and Chestnut – all set to be introduced to the design lovers at the Stockholm Furniture Fair this February.

The NEW A2 Armchair in Green

Originally designed in 1930 by Artur Lindqvist for The Stockholm Exhibition, in 2025, Grythyttan is delighted to launch this iconic design piece in a new contemporary colourway – Green. Crafted from solid wood and steel, each piece is handmade and fitted with a spring steel mechanism that creates its characteristic rocking mechanism. Using wood from FSC or PEFC, the A2 Armchair is completely recyclable.

We live in a time where trends come and go, but great design, like Grythyttan’s, transcends that. When you’re creating something built to last that carries the weight of history and craftsmanship, it doesn’t just fade away. It becomes timeless. Furniture, like art, always reflects the era it was born from, but the legacy – the thought, the care, the innovation – keeps it relevant year after year.

As we look to the future of furniture, we’re moving into a space where sustainability and heritage are key. The past will always be recognized in design – it’s the foundation.
