A Limited-Edition Glass Light from Aesop & Bocci Combines Quiet Luxury and Artisanal Design

The recent collaboration between the leading “quiet luxury” brand Aesop and the multidisciplinary design studio Bocci has resulted in a limited-edition glass light. Handmade glass mimics the signature deep brown color of Aesop bottles, combining the best of both brands.

This rechargeable and wireless lamp will only be available at a few selected stores in the US and Canada, decorating the windows of Aesop stores in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, California, Toronto, and Vancouver.

The lamp’s design, inspired by Bocci’s 14p pendant style, features two hand-poured glass hemispheres encasing a central light source. The frosted granite finish preserves the artisanal feel of the glass and celebrates natural variations like tiny air bubbles suspended within. It diffuses light into a soft, irregular pattern, giving the lamp a warm, candlelit glow. This evokes Aesop’s aesthetic, which draws on antique folklore and literary influences.
