Universal Music Finland’s new office in Siltasaari not only embraces the rhythm of the music industry but also dances to the beat of natural light. Transforming a blank canvas into a vibrant and functional workspace, the interior design, and furniture expertise of KOKO3 has created a space with creativity and comfort in mind.
The open-plan space of Universal Music Finland’s new office is a celebration of transparency and openness, adorned with full-height windows on both sides. This design choice not only floods the workspace with natural light but also provides panoramic views of the Hakaniemi and Siltasaari rooftops, seamlessly connecting the office with the surrounding urban landscape. The beating heart of the office lies in the kitchen and lounge area – a multifunctional space where a relaxed atmosphere greets both visitors and employees. Cleverly separated from the work area by a mirror-surface space divider, the lounge transforms into an event and performance space when the need arises.
Existing furniture takes center stage in the new office, continuing the established color palette and retro ambiance. KOKO3 introduces a few new pieces into the mix, creating a blend that balances the nostalgia of the past with the dynamism of the present. Slatted walnut screens elegantly divide the open-plan office, contributing to the natural flow of the space while discreetly hiding various storage solutions.
The overall ambiance gives a sense of relaxed boldness, mirroring the ethos and values of Universal Music. KOKO3‘s design prowess captures the essence of the music industry, fostering a work environment that resonates with creativity and innovation. The unconventional yet human-centric approach to space design ensures that Universal Music Finland’s new office is not just a workspace but a stage for the daily performances of its talented team.
In collaboration with KOKO3, Universal Music Finland’s new office in Helsinki is not focusing only on innovative design but also committing to sustainability. Through KOKO3’s creative approach, the office exudes character and functionality, delivering more value to its occupants with a smaller carbon footprint.
