Prominent Venetian ceramics design company Bosa will participate in the upcoming Salone del Mobile, taking place between April 21 and 26, 2026, at Fiera Milano in Italy. The brand will feature a brand new Sicculentia collection designed by Elena Salmistraro.

Postmodern totems in the form of a vase
Elena Salmistraro got inspiration for her latest collection from her exploration of the plant world. The silent universe of succulents in particular grabbed her attention. Succulents are incredibly durable and capable of living and developing in hostile conditions. Due to this incredible endurance, they are considered guardians of strength and perseverance. The designer has studied different botanical varieties of her selected plant to convert their most characteristic features into little, functional ceramic vases. The vases, much like little postmodern totems, transform ceramic into a lively material full of meaning.

Four colourful, playful designs
The Succulentia collection by Elena Salmistraro appears as if it were composed of separate elements whose soft volumes gently overlap. Colourful combinations of singular yet complementary parts come together to form rounded, truly organic compositions. The collection includes two colourful Bulbo vases, measuring L 27 × H 35 cm, and the Spinosa vase, measuring L 32 × H 32 cm. It also features the Stapelia container (L 25 × H 38 cm) and the somewhat larger Sedum centrepiece (L 40 × H 19 cm). Placing flowers in these whimsical, flower-inspired vases only amplifies the “flower power” of any interior.

Bosa x Elena Salmistraro: A fruitful partnership that lasts for years
This is not the first collaboration between Bosa and Elena Salmistraro. Their partnership began in 2017 with a series of Primate sculptures, including colourful monkey masks. Over time, the collaboration expanded to include the Bernardo panda figurines, Dornette tiles, and Pop Karl, a sculpture inspired by Lagerfeld. Together with animation company Disney, Bosa and the Italian designer created a set of Mickey and Minnie-inspired sculptures, called Minnie, Urban Minerva and Mickey, Forever Young.
