The Shelving Unit 01 is a modular system designed to give users total flexibility when assembling their furniture, allowing them to reconfigure it whenever and however they want to. Designed by Teethmark and made up of only seven core components, the unit can be assembled in over 100 possible configurations, which allows it to function as a coffee table, console, side table, shelving unit, or any other function that the users desire. Because of this versatility, the Shelving Unit 01 can be used virtually in any space imaginable, as it can answer any need.
Each component was precisely designed to be connected to any other, so their sizes, hole placements, thickness, and shapes result from a careful study. To ensure it is sturdy and will survive the test of time, the unit uses stainless steel 304 fasteners and bolts; plus, the entire assembly requires very little tools.
To assist with the assembly, Teethmark includes a custom wrench, two sizes of Allen keys, a Teethmark tool holder, and a branded chain in every purchase, making the setup process pleasant. Users can also opt to purchase more accessories, such as casters for more mobility, glides for floor protection and stability, and drawer runners for additional storage.
The unit has several finishes, from transparent options to solid, opaque colors such as white, black, yellow, orange, green, purple, and grey. Due to this variety, users can fully customize the piece to match their personal style, be it minimalist, playful, or bold. Furthermore, with every purchase comes a component identification card, an accessories identification card, and a manual to guide assembly and customization. There’s no space for doubts; it’s only creativity.
