This isn’t the first collaboration between the sport brand and the Dutch designers. In February 2026, they previously collaborated on a collection that reimagined Puma’s legendary Suede and Speedcat silhouettes through a natural lens. Suede was redesigned in a new mushroom-inspired colourway, while Speedcat was executed in a dusty moss tone. Just like the previous collaboration, Cathari once again reimagines PUMA’s iconic Suede and Speedcat silhouettes. This time, premium materials and unexpected construction details take centre stage, adding a subtle yet distinctive design language to the familiar forms.

PUMA x Daniëlle Cathari Speedcat

The iconic PUMA Speedcat silhouette was conceived at the track and reimagined for the street. The shoe is known for combining a low profile with motorsport DNA, retro racing vibes and bold lines. The reimagined Speedcat by Daniëlle Cathari has been transformed into a contemporary, lace-less silhouette inspired by the PUMA archive. Made of premium smooth burgundy leather, the shoe has a rich, seasonal feel.

The new design gives a sculptural quality to the motorsport icon, but keeps the shoe’s trademark low-profile shape. Debossed shapes on the heel mimic a pair of spider eyes that serve a dual purpose. On one side, they introduce an exciting visual detail to the otherwise restrained design, but at the same time they double as Cathari’s signature logo.

PUMA x Daniëlle Cathari Suede

One of PUMA’s most recognisable silhouettes, the Suede was launched in 1968, changing the way people feel about street fashion for almost 60 years. From the courts to the streets, from legendary status among breakdancers in the 80s to icons of today, the PUMA Suede has secured its place in sneaker history. Chatari takes the unrestrained attitude of Suede and reimagines it through tonal branding and premium finishes. She subtly twists the iconic Formstrip to wrap the shoe, resulting in a subtle but distinctive visual gesture. A soft blue colourway is executed in premium suede with a classic gum sole. The designer’s signature CATHARI wordmark is embossed on the tongue of the shoe, further elevating the distinctiveness of the model.

Executed in the designer’s understated style, the collection presents the Suede and Speedcat silhouettes through a series of refined studio portraits. The campaign captures models in a relaxed yet considered wardrobe, accessorised with new models. One look pairs the footwear with a classic plaid shirt and oversized sweater, creating a layered, casual aesthetic, while another combines the shoes with a statement fur coat and black hat for a more distinctive, fashion-forward look. Shot against a clean studio backdrop, the campaign embraces a classic portraiture style that keeps the focus on the footwear while placing it naturally within an everyday wardrobe.

The Daniëlle Cathari x PUMA collection is available at selected PUMA stockists from September 26, 2026.
