Mercedes-Benz at CES 2026: Presenting Innovative In-Car Technology with Dolby, NVIDIA, and Xperi

Automobile industry behemoth Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its latest all-electric car from its GLC class of mid-size SUVs (Sport Utility Vehicles). Already a bestseller among Mercedes-Benzes, the car is now equipped with a set of all-new electric GLC components to improve digital platforms and connected car solutions.

Mercedes‑Benz partners with NVIDIA

The car features a next-level music streaming platform with integrated Spatial Audio (already available in CLA and GLB cars), integrated with Dolby Atmos in CarPlay by Apple. The integration ensures an immersive outerworldly sound experience never-before-seen in the brand, which is accompanied by an optional AI-powered pillar-to-pillar MBUX Hyperscreen, the largest continuous screen the brand has ever used, with an optional independently certifiedvegan interior, also the company’s first. In other firsts, this is also the first Mercedes-Benz vehicle to integrate AI from both Microsoft and Google into its Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX). Driver assistance is included and ensured through MB.DRIVE and rapid charging are made possible through an advanced 800V charging system. Additional features include native audiobook streaming enhanced by Dolby Atmos audio technology, creating a realistic 3D soundscape.

Mercedes-Benz’s new CLA model

Apart from a new GLC auto, Mercedes-Benz also introduced a new car from its luxurious CLA class at the Xperi Booth. In order to improve driving assistance, the company partnered with NVIDIA, a leading firm in Artificial Intelligence Computing. The new generation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems is using NVIDIA’s AI as well as full-stack DRIVE AV and the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX accelerated vehicle computing. Driving technology and navigation merge with MB.DRIVE ASSIST PRO from Mercedes-Benz, allowing users to navigate with a click of a button, with advanced  SAE-Level 2 assistance.  Steering adaptations can be done anytime without system deactivation due to the company’s cooperative steering approach.  Just as it did with audio, Mercedes-Benz improved its video streaming services with DTS AutoStage Video powered by TiVo. RIDEVU by Sony Pictures Entertainment brings IMAX Enhanced content with a big screen  1.90:1 aspect ratio, allowing for more picture and DTS:X sound known for natural, lifelike three-dimensional sound for maximum entertainment.

CES 2026 presentation

The visitors of the recently closed CES 2026 in Dolby Live in Las Vegas had the opportunity to experience the new models. An immersive audio demonstration showcased the CLA’s native sound integrations and Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos in Apple CarPlay. CES 2026 lasted between January 6 and January 9, 2026.
