Kevan Shaw, a renowned figure in the world of lighting design, has been honored with the prestigious inaugural lifetime achievement award at a remarkably young age. With over 40 years of experience in the field, including 30 years at his own firm, Kevan Shaw Lighting Design, his contributions to the industry are truly remarkable.
Throughout his illustrious career, Kevan has successfully completed over 700 projects on a global scale, spanning a wide range of sectors. Notable among his achievements are the Scottish Parliament Debating Chamber, the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, and the iconic Scott Monument in Edinburgh.
The LIT Lighting Design Awards is thrilled to recognize Kevan’s outstanding accomplishments and eagerly anticipates his future endeavors in the field. In collaboration with their esteemed partners from L+D Magazine and the LEDforum, the LIT Team will celebrate Kevan’s achievements during the upcoming LEDforum in São Paulo this August. Taking place at the Tivoli Hotel in the heart of the city, a special ceremony will be held on August 15th to honor Kevan Shaw and also acknowledge the winners of the 2018 LIT awards:
