The HON Company has shared its plans to open a new showroom in Chicago in June 2026, which will occupy more than 12,000 square feet at 320 North Sangamon in the Fulton Market district. Timed to open alongside Fulton Market Design Days, the space will act as a working hub where HON can meet customers, collaborate with dealers, and show the full scope of its workplace and educational furniture.
The company describes the move to Fulton Market as “a significant strategic investment and a reintroduction of the HON brand to Chicago’s dynamic architecture and design communities.” The showroom was thus designed with all the tools necessary for the brand, a self-described forward-looking one at that, to succeed in innovating their products and engaging with the public.

The new space will sit within 320 North Sangamon, a 13-storey, 270,000-square-foot office building completed in 2021. Developed by Tishman Speyer and Mark Goodman & Associates and designed by Chicago-based architecture firm Solomon Cordwell Buenz, the building’s layout is organised around largely column-free floorplates with 13-foot ceiling heights, allowing for flexible interior designs and providing a generous sense of volume on each floor. It holds LEED Gold and FitWel certifications, and its Dedicated Outdoor Air System is recognised as Chicago’s first and only 100% water-based office building ventilation and circulation system.
“Creating and bringing to market this new space is a pivotal moment for HON and a declaration of our commitment to the future of work, learning, and the entire Chicago design community. We feel energised by the fresh direction of the space and look forward to reintroducing HON as part of Fulton Market Design Days.”
