Gantri will debut its first collection of pendant lights at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) as part of NYCxDesign from May 19-21, 2024. During the fair, the California-based brand will showcase a 13-piece collection of pendants that combine style, sustainability, and versatility. In this way, the new products create innovative lighting solutions for different applications.
Traditional high-end pendant lights are usually expensive. They have long lead times and fail to balance client’s aesthetic preferences. To address these problems, Gantri dived head-on to develop a collection of different pendants. The line of pendants is designed by 12 independent designers, who incorporated their unique design perspectives and languages into a collection of fresh and contemporary pieces.
The collection is united by the timelessness and usefulness of the products, namely every pendant is created for a range of applications such as the workplace, hospitality, or at home. Equipped with museum-grade and dimmable LEDs, Gantri’s new collection is designed to enhance well-being and comfort in every space. Unlike traditional overhead lighting which can be harsh, these pendants provide a soft light, creating a cozy ambiance.
We are proud to introduce our pendant collection at ICFF, marking a significant expansion in our product lineup. And we’re excited to share the power of digital manufacturing with ICFF’s discerning audience, highlighting how it empowers a new generation of creators to bring their visions to life while making high-end design more accessible for a variety of projects and client needs.

For the creation of the pendants, Gantri used their brand’s proprietary materials, Gantri Plant Polymers. These are eco-friendly materials, derived from non-GMO sugarcane. This technology represents a leap forward in reducing the environmental impact of production processes while meeting the requirements of LEED-certified projects and eco-conscious clients. The polymers are also durable, which makes them a good choice for dynamic family homes and high-traffic commercial spaces.
Gantri attempts to minimize tooling and inventory waste by focusing on digital manufacturing. Moreover, this eliminates unnecessary costs and inefficiencies, allowing for competitive pricing without compromising quality. This approach ensures that Gantri’s lighting solutions are both accessible and a step ahead in design and functionality.
This launch not only broadens our product lineup but significantly enhances our offerings to the trade community. Our new trade program promises tailored solutions, competitive discounts, and premium customer service, designed to meet the dynamic needs of contemporary projects.
