D5 Digital Design Week: Design Where It Matters Most

November 10-14

When survival meets creativity, design becomes a source of hope. This year, D5 Digital Design Week explores how design responds to urgency, weaving sustainability, care, and practical ingenuity into the most challenging contexts.

From solar lamps in off-grid villages to modular housing for refugees, from recycled furniture in shelters to water rollers in rural Africa, we highlight how architecture, interiors, lighting, industrial and furniture design provide solutions that bring safety and dignity. Design answers both immediate crises and the everyday needs of vulnerable communities.
