The collaboration between New Balance and Miu Miu gains a new chapter with a new inspiration: American tennis player Coco Gauff, who will wear the co-branded collection during her upcoming tournaments in Rome (May 7–18), Berlin (June 14–22), and Cincinnati (August 5–28). The new partnership between the giants will include both on-court and off-court clothing, footwear, and accessories, all designed to reflect the growing relationship between the two buddies.
For competition, Gauff will wear tennis outfits designed around heightening performance and tailored in seasonal colour palettes—navy and white with red accents for Rome, white and green with sky blue for Berlin, and white and royal blue with red for Cincinnati. Over these pieces, Gauff will layer co-branded zip-front hoodies and track pants in lightweight silk, coordinated in matching tones for travel and warm-up periods.
On court, Gauff’s footwear will consist of custom versions of the Coco CG2, her signature New Balance shoe, redesigned in collaboration with Miu Miu. These models have the characteristics required for elite-level play plus detailing drawn from New Balance’s lifestyle archive, all of which, of course, match Gauff’s personal preferences. Off court, the top athlete will wear new editions of the New Balance x Miu Miu 530 SL sneaker, produced in leather and mesh and in the same colour combinations used throughout the collection.
The full collection will be released on September 10 and will be available for a limited time in some Miu Miu stores worldwide and on the brand’s website. On the same day, Gauff will appear as a guest at a Miu Miu Select event at the brand’s 57th Street store in New York, where the collaboration will be presented alongside her personal selections from the Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2025 runway collection.
