North American furniture manufacturer Division Twelve introduced its first upholstered lounge chair. Entitled Pohm, the chair gets its name from the French word for apple, “pomme“, oozing a sense of roundness and familiarity. The company, a sister brand of Keilhauer, is known for its colourful furniture mostly designed for outdoor, hospitality and commercial use.

The Pohm Lounge Chair designed by Nicole Marion
Designed by Nicole Marion-led Studio Marion for Division Twelve, the Pohm Lounge Chair balances comfort and construction clarity. The exposed tubular metal frame features a rounded wooden sphere at the end of the armrest. This “palm rest” of sorts represents an intuitive hand resting place, which anchors the user through touch. The tactile moment softens the industrial expression of the frame.

The connection between metal and wood invites engagement and a deeper relationship with the material. Pohm Lounge Chair reflects the brand’s continuous evolution. As the first upholstered lounge chair, the Pohm enriches both the brand collection and the depth of the design language.

Pohm Lounge Chair at NeoCon
Division Twelve debuted the Pohm Lounge Chair at the NeoCon 2026 conference on the 3rd floor of THE MART, in the Keilhauer and Division Twelve joint showroom. The showroom has placed the chair into a series of curated settings to prove how the product boosts focus and collaboration in real environments.
During NeoCon, Division Twelve also organised a series of daily boat cruises. While gliding down the Chicago River, the visitors could experience the collection against the architectural backdrop of the city.

Eco-friendly solution fit for healthcare facilities
Both Division Twelve and Keilhauer carry the Greenhealth Approved™ healthcare-sector eco-label, awarded to sustainable products free of chemicals and fit for healthcare facilities. The label reflects both brands’ commitment to healthier materials and responsible manufacturing. Pohm chair and other products allow interior designers to create environments that actively support healing and where both patients and caregivers can thrive.

“We believe healthcare environments should be designed with the same attention to beauty as any other space, because when you center patients and support the designers creating these environments, you create places that not only function but contribute to improved healthcare outcomes.”
CEO Mike Keilhauer

Third-party standards and certification
The Pohm Lounge Chair is Certified Carbon Neutral and Greenhealth Approved. Its environmental impact is made transparent through Life Cycle Assessments and Environmental Product Declarations. All main components of the Division Twelve and Keilhauer products are made with FSC®-certified wood, sourced from sustainably managed forests sensitive to biodiversity, Indigenous rights, and deforestation concerns.
Additionally, all Keilhauer and Division Twelve products are designed to meet rigorous third-party standards, including SCS Indoor Advantage™ Gold (indoor air quality certification), and BIFMA LEVEL® 3 (certificate measuring environmental, material health and social responsibility impact of furniture and its production).

By presenting its first upholstered lounge chair at NeoCon, Division Twelve further enriched its portfolio. But while Pohm may be a step in a new direction, the spirit of playfulness and warmth that the brand is known for remains the same. Comfortable, colourful Pohm series brings personality and energy that elevates any space.
