Heading: S-CAB
The new catalogue from S-CAB has arrived, unveiling the design directions set to shape 2026. Conceived almost like a photographic volume, it places imagery at the forefront. However, considering that the Outdoor catalogue also features new S-CAB products, it also features useful technical details. The S-CAB’s unique approach is visible on every page. Featuring furniture and accessories with a unique individual identity, but when put together, they create a homogenous outdoor setting. The space is defined by an array of sofas, tables, coffee tables, and seating objects, while accessories such as rugs, pots, and planters complete the look.

Playful modular design
Carefully curated catalogue, playful in form, finishes, and colours, encourages users to explore outdoor living. The 2026 trends favour flexible and functional furnishing without compromising on the modularity, comfort, and styling. The star of the catalogue, a padded lounge chair named Brezza Relax, introduces a welcoming dimension to outdoor living. Designed by Alessandro Stabile, the lounge is inspired by the classic style of two large cushions placed side by side. The result is a backrest sofa that can be mixed with other modules, thus creating a furniture piece that supports both dynamic social engagement and creative flexibility.

Flap represents S-CAB’s first modular upholstered collection, designed in 2023 by Meneghello Paolelli. Clever design allows the object to intersect with other outdoor elements such as side tables, pouffe, lounge, and armchair. The 2023 design is enriched with new fabrics, a special custom-made striped textile with an understated colour palette.

Indoor-0utdoor materials
The dual function of contemporary outdoor design that combines interior and exterior elements is embodied in DRESS_CODE seating. Designed by gumdesign four years ago, the seating draws inspiration from principles of bespoke tailoring. The interaction between the frame and seat colours is enhanced by a rich blend of indoor and outdoor fabric textures. Among the outdoor textiles is a new striped option inspired by classic maritime style.

Wowen, organic elements
Malvasia Riviera armchair 2025 by Francesca Lanzavecchia includes a woven rope backrest, adding an organic element to the design. The armrest is large in proportions, created from the same-tone ropes, enabling numerous colour combinations. The exquisite craftsmanship of the backrest mimics the sensation of a fresh breeze and summer heat. The padded seat ensures a cosy environment even during prolonged seating.

Careful examination of the new S-CAB outdoor catalogue clearly points out new trends in outdoor design, which include:
- breaking the boundaries between the indoor and the outdoors by using the interior fabric in outdoor design.
- woven elements that add a touch of lightness and connect the furniture to nature.
- modularity – ensuring every piece matches the surrounding outdoor upholstery.
These and many other trendy furniture pieces transform the open-air relaxation into functional, adaptable solutions designed to complement the environment.
