Cullinan Sky, a new development rising at Concorde Road in Hong Kong, has been upgraded with a floating landscaped garden. Designed by New Office Works, a company from Hong Kong, the gardens create an intersection between luxury and a safe, serene hideaway.

The Social Layer on the 30th floor
Located between the 30th and 31st floors of the Cullinan Sky, the garden encompasses 24,000 square feet. The project is envisioned as a floating landscaped garden with a breathtaking view of Lion Rock and Victoria Harbour. A two-level garden starts at the 30th floor with a Social Layer. This area is meant to encourage interaction with communal spaces and multi-use courts.

The Serene Layer on the 32nd floor
One floor above, New Office Works has designed Serene Layer with more secluded, tranquil areas, including a tea room for relaxation and a yoga studio for exercise. The area meant for self-reflection is filled with cleverly illuminated vertical wall gardens. Rising above the stairs, the lush greenery provides much-needed colour to the concrete grey area. Houseplants and trees in the joint areas and on the terrace provide an organic feel to the busy city area. Bold and unexpected, a touch of versatile greenery blurs the lines between the outdoor and the indoor. The design nurtures a connection with nature in a high-density environment. New Office Works has been led by the belief that architecture can evoke emotional experiences and cosy spaces for everyday activities, even in the most populated areas.

Cullinan Sky residential area
Still in development, luxurious condominium Cullianan Sky will be developed in two phases. The first phase includes the construction of 906 residential units, led by Sun Hung Kai. The second phase will include adding another 584 units. Located in the central Kai Tak area, Cullinan Sky is set to become a major new residential landmark in Hong Kong’s cityscape.
