Vietnam Design Week 2025 Closes With Ideas, Awards And A Clear Message: Good Design – Good Business

VMARK Vietnam Design Week 2025 closed on a strong note, bringing together leading designers, architects, and businesses from Vietnam and abroad. With the theme “Good Design – Good Business”, the program highlighted how creativity and innovation can shape industries and add tangible value to everyday life.

The opening at JW Marriott Saigon welcomed more than 1,500 guests, setting the stage for a week of design-focused activities. Exhibition spaces featured hundreds of projects and products, reflecting contemporary lifestyle shifts while underlining Vietnam’s growing role in the global design landscape.

Discussions took center stage at the Design Summits. The morning session, “The Impact of Sustainable Design,” addressed how design thinking can foster responsibility and long-term value. In the afternoon, “Design & The Future of Technology” explored how emerging tools and digital platforms are reshaping creative practice.

The mini talkshow “Portfolio Awareness: From Paper to Mindset”, led by MSc. Đoàn Ngọc Duy of Hoa Sen University, provided young designers with practical insight on presenting their work authentically in an AI-driven era.

Recognition came with the VMARK Design Awards, where winners celebrated their achievements and the visibility these accolades bring. The Gala Night was the closing highlight — an elegant evening dedicated to honoring outstanding work across disciplines and to reinforcing Vietnam’s position as a key player in the design field.

Though Vietnam Design Week 2025 has ended, the momentum now looks toward 2026, where design excellence will continue to grow and inspire new conversations.
