ArchLIGHT Summit 2026 Brings Dallas into the Spotlight

The lights have dimmed on ArchLIGHT Summit 2026, held September 15 and 16 at the Dallas Market Center, but the energy of the past days still lingers. The city welcomed architects, interior designers and lighting professionals to what has become one of the most dynamic gatherings in the industry, offering two days of exhibitions, education and conversation that went far beyond the trade show floor.

Exhibitors once again proved that lighting is about more than illumination. American Lighting presented versatile systems that move seamlessly between residential and commercial applications, Amerlux impressed with precision-engineered architectural fixtures, while Casambi Technologies attracted attention for their wireless smart controls. Cooper Lighting Solutions highlighted sustainable products designed for large scale projects, ERCO Lighting focused on museum quality light and its role in storytelling, and Focal Point showcased acoustic lighting that blends function with form. Hudson Valley Lighting Group brought design-forward decorative pieces, iGuzzini introduced innovations in human centric lighting, LEDVANCE revealed a strong portfolio of energy-efficient solutions, and WAC Lighting stood out with its architectural luminaires known for both elegance and performance. Together, they reflected the breadth of the industry, from decorative statements to the most technical of systems.

The sessions were no less compelling. The Women in Lighting and Design welcome party set a strong tone of inclusivity on the opening evening. At the same time, NEMRA’s presentation on the smart node above our heads unpacked how controls are evolving for an IoT future. The panel on intelligence by design examined the very real impact of artificial intelligence on architecture and workflows, followed by the much-anticipated Casambi happy hour, which demonstrated that product launches and networking mix well in Dallas. One of the most inspiring moments was the Texas Society of Architects’ talk on women at the forefront of Texas architecture, where personal stories of leadership and resilience had a lasting impact.

This year’s ArchLIGHT Summit reminded the industry that Dallas is not just the home of lighting by name. With its permanent showrooms, temporary marketplace and buzzing show floor, the city turned into a hub of creativity and innovation. As the industry looks ahead, the September gathering will be remembered as a meeting point where products, ideas and people came together to prove once more that lighting lives here.
